Perea The development of first aid survival tutorial mobile application for android operating system was conducted from July 2013 to January 2014 in Dulce's and Pagaduan's residence at Mulawin and Bagtas, Tanza, Cavite to provide knowledge about basic first aid and survival tips for natural phenomenon to the persons who are always on the go and do not have time to attend seminars. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. plan a system that will give a step by step tutorial to people in case of accidents or calamities; 2. analyze all the requirements needed to conduct this mobile application that will satisfy the expectation of each user, 3. design a mobile application with the use of Eclipse which is easy to use and understand and has accurate information; 4. evaluate the system if it is useful, helpful, and manageable; and 5. implement the system that will help people when accidents and calamities happen. This system has first aid and survival tips about calamities which often occur in the area of Cavite. These tips include short videos and texts that show the users the necessary step by step procedure to follow. It also has all possible emergency hotline numbers in the vicinity of Cavite. A quiz which will test the skills of the users in giving first aid is also added in the system. The general objectives of this study was to develop a development of first aid survival tutorial mobile application for android operating system, The developers used the Eclipse for the structure and designing of the system and Adobe Photoshop for more presentable graphic design of the system. For the documentation purposes the used Microsoft word, Visio and Excel. The evaluation of the system is conducted in Cavite State University- Rosario, Rosario, Cavite and CCAT Road, Rosario, Cavite. It was evaluated by one hundred students of the said school from different courses, seventy civilians and thirty medical personnel. The majority of them rated that the system was outstanding.
