Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University-Rosario, Rosario, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Raiza D. Borreo. The project entitled "Development of 3D Navigational System for Tanza National Comprehensive High School was developed to guide the unfamiliar students and visitors of the schools layout. Specifically, it aims to: 1. plan the system through identifying the problems of new or unfamiliar students of TNCHS; 2. analyze the existing problem of TNCHS about the location of each classrooms, faculty department and buildings; 3. develop a system using the development tools such as AutoCAD 2007, 3DStudioMax, Unity3D and Adobe Photoshop; 4. and evaluate the performance of the developed system. The developers used Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop the system. There are series of phases in the method SDLC namely: planning, analysis, design and evaluation. In system planning, the developers conducted interviews and gathered necessary data. In system analysis, the gathered data were studied and the developers considered the request of the client. In system design, actual development of 3D models was done. In system evaluation phase, the system was evaluated to test whether it operates according to the desired output. The system was evaluated by 200 participants, composed of 20 grade seven students, 109 from grade eight students, 44 3rd year students, 21 4th year students, 2 teachers and 4 security guards from TNCHS and got an overall mean rating of outstanding. The result of the evaluation confirms that the system can be a useful navigational tool for the architectural layout of TNCHS.
