Technical critic: Mr. Romulo B. Isorena. The study was conducted from July 2015 to February 2016 to develop and evaluate broaching tool. This study aimed to; 1) design broaching tools; 2) construct broaching tool using available materials in the local market; 3) evaluate the performance of the prototype in terms of accuracy and time of broaching ; 4) conduct cost analysis for the fabrication of the project. Broaching tool was constructed with 3 different broaching tools in different sizes such as 1mm, 2mm and 3mm. It was use with the help of five (5) different guides of different diameter. Each guide was inserted in accordance to the diameter and size of the hole of the work piece. Each guide have seam used to adjust the broaching tool to its desired or required depth of the keyway. The use of the guide was to place the broaching tool to its position and cut the keyway right at the center of the workpiece, making it precise and accurate. It is easy and faster to use. The overall efficiency of the broaching tool was to make an accurate and precise keyway on holes faster and easier.
