The study was conducted from July 2015 to April 2017 to develop Metal Bender Designer specifically, the project aimed to: 1.) design a metal bender designer 2.) construct a device for fabricating design for metal works 3.) evaluate the performance of the project as to the ability of the metal bender designer and the traditional way of bend in terms of: a) speed of bending and twisting a metal as compared to the traditional and the prototype; b) accuracy of length to form a design and number of turns of metal 4.) conduct the cost analysis of the prototype. Metal bender designer was developed to fabricate a design using mild steel metal with quality to bend and twist metal work. The project was manually operated supported by a flat bar of 1/16 to 3/16 and square bar of 8 mm to 12 mm. Applying a force to bend and twist a metal to make more decorative designs. It has two major components such as bender and twister. As bender, it can bend flat bar and square bar metal using a jigs attached to the round plate and the metal could be bent as jig itself. As twister, it can twist flat and square bars, it has an adjustable grip along the twister and can twist metal any length wanted to be twisted. The project can bend and twist metal faster as compared to the traditional twisting device in the laboratory building. The prototype can design e-form and scroll form and could determine the number of turns applicable in metal in various length. The total cost of the project was PHP 32,908.52
