520 _aLLAPITAN, PIJAY, P. HONRADA, ARNEL,G. and ARENAS,GRACIELA, T. Development ofCopper Clad Board (CCB) Art Design Heat Press. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, major in Electronics. Cavite State University, Rosario, Cavite. July 2017. Adviser: Mr. Nonilo G. Evangelista. Technical critic: Mrs. Janice D. Marquez. The study was conducted from March 2016 to June 2017 at Cavite States University Rosario Campus in TVEP building to develop and evaluate the Copper Clad Board CCB Art Design Heat Press. Specifically, the study aimed to 1) design aCopper Clad Board (CCB) Art Design Heat Press.2) construct an Copper Clad Board (CCB) Art Design Heat Press from supply and materials available in the local market. 3) evaluate the functionality of the prototype in term of: a) speed of lay-outing compare to traditional way,b) speed in transferring the design to the copper clad board compare to the traditional way, and c) accuracy of foil pattern produce using CCB art design heat press and traditional way. 4) conduct a cost analysis for the Copper Clad Board (CCB) Art Design Heat Press. The prototype was designed and constructed to eliminate a traditional way or methods of making a Printed Circuit Board foil pattern on the copper clad surface which consumed a so much time that affects greatly to the knowledge and skills development of electronic and electrical students doing the same hands on activities in the production of Printed Circuit Board foil pattern of the copper clad surface. The teachers and students can finish and accomplished their theory Cal and laboratory activities on or before the target date without delay that brought an excellent and very good teaching performance. This study was focused mainly the design, construct and evaluation of the Copper Clad Board (CCB) Art Design Heat Press. The number of Copper Clad Board the prototype can accommodate depend on the size of the Copper Clad Board, the smaller the size of the Copper Clad Board, the greater it can transfer the PCB foil pattern at the same time and the greater size of the Copper Clad Board, the lessen number can transfer the PCB foil pattern from the photo of acetate paper to the Copper Clad Board. As reflected in table 2 the computerize/PCB wizard software was the fastest way of lay-outing the design with mean of 9 minutes and 33 secondsfor copper clad board with size of 5.08 cm x 10.16 cm x 0.254 cm and 11 minutes and 53 seconds for copper clad board with size of 10.16 cm x 10.16 cm x 0.254 cm.As reflected in table 3 the copper clad board (CCB) art design heat press was the fastest way for transferring the design with mean of 5 minutes and 43 seconds for copper clad board with size of 5.08 cm x 10.16 cm x 0.254 cm and 6 minutes and 48secsfor copper clad board with size of 10.16 cm x 10.16 cmx0.254 cm.As reflected on table 4 the design transferred through masking tape and permanent marker was not the same or in arc shape of the design while in copper clad board (CCB) art design heat the design produce was the same or accurate. The total cost of the project was PHP. 11,503.23.
