Arive. Technical Critic: Mr. Jurick P. Paulino. The study was conducted from October 2017 to March 2018 to develop a Motor Control Training Board with Programmable Logic Controller. Specifically, the design project aimed to: 1. Design a Motor Control Training Board with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC); 2. Construct a Motor Control Training Board with PLC from available parts and materials in the local market; 3. Evaluate the performance of the prototype in terms of: a. accuracy based on functionality and operation of the motors. b. speed in connecting laboratory exercises like light sequence connection, start-stop connection, start- stop - jog connection, on - delay connection, off-delay connection, forward-reverse connection and wye - delta connection; 4 Provide a learning element of the training board; and 5. Conduct cost analysis of the project. The Motor Control Training Board with Programmable Logic Controller will benefit electrical students and also other electrical practitioner who are entering electrical industries. The device can use to obtain knowledge and to improve their skills in PLC by making connecting in actual. The findings of the study based on the result of the evaluation are: 1. Good as to its functionality, construction and economy. 2.Excellent in terms of safety; The safety features of Motor Control Training Board with Programmable Logic Controller were match to the safety of National Electrical Code and learning elements were really helpful to the evaluator in familiarizing the connections of motors utilizing a programmable logic controller based on the results from pre-test and post-test.
