520 _aElectricity has been part of our lives since ancient times, so it would be misleading to say that everyone essentially discovered it. Ancient man perceived electricity in the form of lighting every time there was a thunderstorm. Some people see electricity as a powerful message from the gods, but today, electricity is more fully understood. We use electricity hundreds of times every day-whenever we browse a light switch, turn on the television or use a telephone. This book will help us to learn basic concepts of electricity, Voltage, Current, Resistance, and Ohm's Law which connects them. You must understand basic electrical concepts such as voltage, amperage, resistance, Ohm's law, wattage, circuit theory and others. In the book, only those circuit theorems and analysis techniques that are practical and typically used in practical circuit analysis are addressed. Additionally, Kirchhoff's current law, Kirchhoff's voltage law, and Ohm's law are introduced to safeguard that the learner has a comprehensive understanding of each law before applying all or part to traditional series and parallel circuits.
