Undergraduate Thesis, Cavite State University- Rosario Science Education Laboratory School. Tejeros Convention, ROsario, Cavite.2011 Adviser: Prof. Remedios G. Lisondra This study was conducted to determine the effect of climnate change to the growth of mangrove. There were 200 mangroves planted on Muzon II, Rosario, Cavite with the collaboration of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), After several weeks only 36 of the mangroves survived and these remaining mangroves were used as the object of the study. The data were collected, analyzed and interpreted using the Complete Randomized Design (CRD). The results of the study revealed that the climate change affected the growth of mangroves. The samples showed growth development during observation test. Thus, these prove that the null hypothesis is rejected. From the findings and conclusions of the study, the following recommendations are hereby forwarded: 1. The researchers would like to recommend a further study about the specific effects of climate change to the growth and suvival of mangroves. 2. To focus on the rehabilitation and preservation of mangroves considering the knowledge on the effects of climate change to their growth and suvival. 3. Determine the possible solutions and precautionary measures to save mangrove population from destructive climate changes.
