The research study entitled "Improvised Manual Biodegradable Garbage Shredder was conducted Cavite State University-Rosario Campus. Generally, this study aimed to make an Improvised Manual Biodegradable Garbage Shredder. Specifically, it seeks to answer: a), the difference on the efficiency of the machine when applied to three different garbage samples and b) the difference on the effectiveness of the machine when applied to three different garbage samples

This study used the Quasi Experimental Design which include both descriptive and experimental method.

The researcher evaluated the improvised device After evaluating the product, the researcher interpreted the result as to how important and useful was the Improvised Manual Biodegradable Garbage Shredder in the life of the people.

Results showed that the shredder was very efficient using the three (3) different garbage samples such as Gabi stalk, Papaya stalk and Banana stalk. Banana stalk had the greatest quantity of 340 grams of shredded, the first replication due to its high water content. It was followed by Papaya stalk which produced 335 grams of shredded stalk in R_ within 45 seconds, and on the other hand, Gabi stalk had the least quantity of 202 grams of shredded stalk in R_ and Ra. The Manual Biodegradable Garbage Shredder was found to be very efficient in shredding garbages. For the effectiveness of the shredder, it was found out that it was very effective using the same garbage samples. Banana stalk had the greatest mean of 6.86 g/sec was in R_ for 45 seconds. It had the highest mass or quantity of substance shredded. It could be inferred that since banana stalk had more water content, it became mush heavier than others. Next was Papaya stalk with a mean of 5.89 g/sec, showing that it had a great amount of shredded substance. The last was Gabi stalk with a mean of 4 45 g/sec in R_ and R_ As a result, the Manual Biodegradable Garbage Shredder was found to be very effective in shredding the garbage samples.

Findings prove that biodegradable garbage shredder is good enough to serve as the preliminary step or campaign against garbage. The machine is useful to start discover an inexpensive way on lessening the volume of garbage in the community The machine would be only effective if you use the appropriate garbage like big leaves and fresh stalk because if you used the shredded garbage, it wasn't able to shred because of its small cuts. Stalks that have water content can affect the amount of the shredded stalk in particular time. To all those would like to continue or to conduct further studies for improvement on this research, the researchers recommend the following:

1. Double-check the output machine so you can remedy the problem if it has detects.

2. A study must be undertaken to determine the feasibility of mass-producing of manual biodegradable garbage shredder.

3. Further analysis on the mechanism of the tools to improve the design of the

device.

4. Use of stainless as the blade of the machine.

5. Find out if the machine can grind plastic materials.
