Adviser: Mr. Josefino E. Ambayec. Technical critic: Mr. Romulo Isorena. The study was conducted from August 2017 to November 2018 to develop and evaluate the hydraulic cylinder liner remover. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1)design and construct a Hydraulic Cylinder Liner Remover and Installer from available parts and materials in the market that makes the removing of liner faster; 2) evaluate the performance of the design project tin terms of: a). speed of removing cylinder liner from engine block; b). hydraulic pressure when removing each liner from the engine block;c) efficiency of hydraulic cylinder liner remover and installer if it can remove and install liner without damage and getting out of shape; d) hydraulic pressure when installing each liner from the engine block; e) speed of installing cylinder liner from engine block The major parts of this prototype were AC motor, hydraulic pump, hydraulic tank, hydraulic controller, hydraulic hoses, and double acting cylinder valve and puller plate. The evaluation concluded that the hydraulic cylinder liner remover can remove cylinder liner from engine block without any damage or deformation occur on the cylinder liner, also the speed in removing cylinder liner is much faster thana manually operated cylinder liner remover and the power of hydraulic cylinder liner remover was enough to remove each liner from engine block ER -
