Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, Cavite State University Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus Rosario Cavite, March 2018. Adviser: Mr. Ariesthotle D. Arive. Technical Critic: Mr. Richard Dela Peña.
The study was conducted from October 2017 to March 2018 to develop gasoline powered generator trainer. Specifically, the project aims to: 1) design and construct gasoline powered generator trainer 2) evaluate the functionality of the prototype in terms of; satisfaction, easy and reusability 3) conduct cost analysis of the prototype 4) describe the safety features of gasoline powered generator trainer 5) develop set of learning element and 6) evaluate the performance of the student. This study was conducted at Cavite State University.
The evaluation of a gasoline powered generator trainer using the five learning elements (assemble and disassemble, connection of control board, checking the engine, change oil, and troubleshooting of alternator) was performed by the three researcher together with the respondents. The time taken for the respondents to perform and the five learning elements were determined. Among the five learning elements the assemble and disassemble, troubleshooting of alternator takes the longest period of time, followed by the checking the engine, change oil and connection of control board takes the shortest period of time. The production cost of gasoline powered generator trainer was PHP 21,566.00.
