The study was conducted from July 2015 to April 2017 to develop Motorized Steel Bender specifically, the project aims to: 1.) design a Motorized Steel Bender 2.) construct a more convenient equipment for stirrups 3.) evaluate the effectiveness of motorized steel bender in compliance in with standard acceptable criteria on bending. a.) speed of bending in different sizes of steel (bend per seconds) b.) Accuracy of bending in different sizes of steel (90 degree angle). 4.) Conduct cost analysis of the motorized steel bender. Motorized Steel bender was developed to create a good quality of a stirrup angle, it is testing which applying a high force to formed and test subject, and evaluate the result. It has a motor which act as the source of force and a speed reducer to reduce the motor speed to get connected on the bottom part of the working disc that helps to bend the reinforcement bar. The developed device can bend a 8mm and 9mm reinforcement bar. The total cost of the project is PHP. 24,232.00 ER -
