Arduino-Based Egg and Balut Incubator. A Design Project. Department of Engineering. Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus, Rosario, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Engr. Kenneth Enrico. Technical critic: Judith O. Banogbanog. The study was conducted from January 2017 to May 2018 to construct a device, specifically balut incubator, which can lessen the work of those who are involved in balut egg industry. Equipped with real time clock (RTC), Arduino Microcontroller, GSM system, humidity and temperature sensor and coil heater, with control mechanism for tilting of egg-tray. This design project must be able to send messages about the status of the machine for every 4 hours to inform the owner through SMS; the temperature sensor used to monitor the temperature inside the incubator and allow the heating element to on and off if the temperature goes down and up beyond the temperature range which was required by the machine. This research study made use of experimental development approach to produce a prototype. Based on the findings, the device was efficient on monitoring the humidity and temperature inside of the machine, and informing the owner the status of the incubated balut eggs through SMS ER -
