The study was conducted from August 2017 to April 2018 to develop an integrated fire alarm annunciation system used to give early signals for fire incidents that may happen. This helps respondents or fire emergency team to easily locate the fire, know its severity and clear it out immediately. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design the hardware interface of integrated fire alarm annunciation system; 2) construct the project using GSM shield for the SMS notification, smoke detectors for fire detection and other materials needed; 3) test and evaluate the functionality of the sender and receiver panels; 4) conduct cost analysis of the project; and 5) implement the project in Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus in Rosario, Cavite.

With integrated fire alarm annunciation system, people can take action before major damages take place. This primarily designed to warn occupants of a fire to safely evacuate the premises. Instantaneous managing fire incident eases injuries, loss of lives and destruction of millions worth properties.

Based on the performed technical evaluation of the study, using binomial distribution, all the functions of the prototype have succeeded in all the trials made. This revealed that developed integrated fire alarm annunciation system met the proposed functions, an effective fire alarm system and proven life-saving device.
