Adviser Mrs. Remedios G Lisondra
This study aimed to construct an "Improvised Appliance Power Regulator and determine the effectiveness of the said device in terms of accuracy, efficiency, and durability This device will be a great help in the offices, schools, homes and other industrial establishments in protecting their electrical appliances from damage due to unexpected power fluctuations and brownouts
Descriptive research design was used in this study The Improvised Appliance-Power Regulator was tested with six different electrical appliances (electric fan, cell phone charger, over head projector, television, garbage shredder and refrigerator) at different times to test its accuracy and efficiency
According to the results, the Improvised Appliance-Power Regulator was accurate and efficient as described by an experienced instructor in the electrical technology The operational hypothesis was accepted and the objectives in this study were achieved
The researchers recommend that other studies may be conducted for the improvement and mass production of the device.
