The study "Coconut Husk as an Alternative Material in Making Wood Tile" was conducted to know if coconut husk is a possible substitute material in making wood tile.
The study aims to determine the possibility of coconut husk as alternative material in making wood tile and to determine what part of the coconut husk can be used in making wood tile.
From the parts of the coconut husk, only two were used. The coconut fiber and the coconut husk. All of the treatments were the same on the weight of coconut husk part and of the weight of mixed hardening agent. Coconut fiber was used as first treatment with the same value of chemicals in treatment two. Coconut dust was used in the next three treatments.
Based on the findings of the study, T2 and T3 is the best mixture among the four treatments. Both treatments and the commercial tile were tested for its durability by loading different weights of iron. Its strength was computed by following the formula of getting the Pascal.
