This study developed a Movable Boom for the Department of Engineering and Allied Trades of Cavite State University-Rosario Campus.
Specifically,this answered the following questions: (1) How did the Movable Boom help in the mechanical industries? (2) How did the Movable Boom provide an effective tool for quality of durability and high strength?
Specifically,this study (1) planned the device for its simplification of many jobs for multitude of workers to perform one's task; (2) analyzed the project as to its functionality and workability; (3) stabilized the quality of the Movable Boom through its capacity; (4) constructed a Movable Mini Boom from available parts and materials in the local market; (5) Tested its capability, safety,and effectiveness;(6) Revised and fixed the defects; (😎 Evaluated the prototype.
This project study was conducted at Cavite State University-Rosario,Mechanical Building from June,2013 to March,2014.
The function is very useful for the students and other users and it is user friendly. The materials used was ready and locally available in the market. The total cost of the prototype is PHP 14,942.00.
Based on the study, the researchers would like to recommend the following:(1) Mechanical and Automotive technology teachers and students should come up with a project capable for maintaining or improving the capability of Movable Boom to defy expectation in terms of skills; (2) Another study should be conducted to prove whether the project is marketable and can be mass produced; (3) Should provide a platform on the base so the machine used to be lifted must not move.
