This study entitled “Development of LED Television Trainer” was developed to aid students and instructors, and provide information on LED televisions. Moreover, it would benefit electronics students and professors in demonstration purposes. It will serve as instructional equipment. The LED television trainer was convenient to use. It is capable of giving knowledge regarding LED television and its troubles. The methodology used was measuring and marking, cutting, drilling, covering, grinding, installing, soldering and grinding. Specifically,this study aimed to: (1) design and layout a LED television trainer, (2) construct a LED television trainer with locally available materials;(3) evaluate the quality of picture and sound produced by the LED television; (4) test the modular applicability of the prototype; and (5)conduct cost analysis for LED television trainer. The study was conducted at Cavite State University-CCAT Campus from August 2018 to June 2019. The finding of the study based on the result of the evaluation was excellent as to its functionality, safety and durability. The modular applicability was tested using five learning elements. These include identifying different parts and function of LED television trainer, wiring a LED television trainer, back light checking, re-channeling,and troubleshooting a LED television trainer. The quickest learming element to be performed was re-channeling a LED television and the slowest is troubleshooting a LED television. The learning elements were applicable and effective based on the result of the pre-test and post-test. LED television trainer was designed and constructed with high quality function. It was cheaper than its commercial counterpart. It is made up of locally available materials with the total cost of PHP 44,890.80.
