The study entitled “Development of an Integrated Grinding Wheel with Wire Brush and Vacuum Cleaner” was conducted at Stationary Marine Technology Department of Cavite State University-CCAT Campus. The design, fabrication and evaluation of the prototype started last April 2017 and finished on May 2018. The objective of the study was to develop and evaluate the integrated grinding wheel with wire brush and vacuum cleaner. Specially, the study aimed to: 1) design an integrated grinding wheel with wire brush and vacuum cleaner, 2) construct it according to, specification and principles of operation out of locally available materials, 3) evaluate the performance in terms of, a) functionality effectiveness of the prototype.
The development of an integrated grinding wheel with wire brush and vacuum cleaner was designed, for grinding, wire brushing for cleaning rusty metals, and provided with a vacuum cleaner to capture the filings and dirt remove from the metal being cleaned and ground.
