Summary: CATALAN, RACQUEL A. Development of Automated Delivery Cart Using Line Tracking System in CvSU- CCAT. Design Project. Department of Engineering. Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus, Rosario, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Engr. Kenneth Enrico. Technical critic: Jurick P. Paulino. The study was conducted from August 2017 to June 2018 to develop an automated delivery cart using line tracking system. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design a cart based on line tracking delivery cart that is capable of delivering office supplies as instructed by the authorized personnel; 2) construct the prototype as designed; 3) test and improve the prototype; and 4) evaluate the technical performance of the developed prototype. The prototype was designed to deliver office supplies to the end-user through the use of microcontroller technology. Line sensor gives path to the prototype in which direction it will go and ultrasonic sensor was used to detect any hindrance in front of it. The use of pin code (password) was used to secure the office supply carried by the automated cart. The whole prototype was operated by 12 VDC rechargeable battery. Based on the result of evaluation the time consumed of the prototype in delivering office supply in different location like clinic, department of computer engineering (DCS) and external and business affairs (EBA) was almost the same in different weight of load. In addition, the prototype can deliver the office supplies to its designated location. The prototype can be used to eliminate the risks of manual handling and provide less manpower in delivering office supply to its respective end user.

The prototype can be used to eliminate the risks of manual handling and provide less manpower in delivering office supply to its respective end user.
