Summary: ESQUIVEL, ABEGAIL P., VERANA, SHERWIN M. Intelligent Fire Accident Inspector with Gas Leakage Detection. Design Project. Department of Engineering. Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus, Rosario, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Engr. John Michael A. Dharma. Technical critic: Judith O. Banogbanog. The study was conducted from August 2017 to April 2018. To develop an Intelligent Fire Accident Inspector with Gas Leakage Detection. Specifically the study aims to design the hardware interface of the fire accident inspector, construct the project using raspberry pi as microcontroller equipped with a camera for visual inspection of accident sites and a gas sensor for detecting gas leakage, test and evaluate the technical performance of the device in terms of the response to gas leakage, response of the car movement to commands from the mobile application, response of the camera head movement to commands from the mobile application, linear speed of the car and assess the technological design and conduct cost analysis of the project. The main component of the fire accident robot is raspberry pi. Raspberry pi camera and gas sensor were used as input device. The raspberry pi camera enables to send a live video to the user’s android phone and send a signal to the raspberry pi and receive a command in the application. The LED was used as indicator to know if the sensor detect a gas near in the area. Based on the result of the evaluation using binomial distribution, all the functions of the prototype have succeeded. There are conclusion and recommendations arises for the improvement of the study.
