Summary: ALONZO, MARK ANTHONY M., CADORNA, ROBERT L., EZGUERRA, RAYMART B., GAPUZ, EIZABETH A., LEYNES, REA B. Development of a Microcontroller-Based Line Tracking Delivery Robot. An undergraduate thesis manuscript submitted to the faculty Department of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University Rosario, Cavite in partial fulfillment of the requirements for graduation with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Prepared under the Supervision of Mrs. Raiza D. Borreo. Microcontroller based Line Tracking Delivery Robot is a supplementary tool capable of delivering important documents to desired location for as long as line track is properly installed. The function of this robot is to aid the students, instructors and primarily the head personnel in delivering important documents and packages without the anxiety of losing it. It will help sending important packages from one department to another safely. This robot also saves time, energy and effort for the sender can take on more important tasks than delivering documents. It has four equally size motorize drawers which is password protected. The sensors attached underneath the prototype which detects a black line is very sensitive; a millimeter high or low difference in the position of the sensor will critically arbitrate the cycle. Moreover, any hump in the surface, whether small or big Will also affect the navigation of the system. Based from the result gathered and summarized from the series Of testing and evaluation, the system was rated excellent by the institution evaluators (comprised of the administrative staff, instructors and students) using the ISO 9126 model criteria. Improvements were also made from the comments and suggestions given by the adviser, fellow students and evaluators. The system was successfully constructed and tested meeting the required specification; and it performed well and has garnered the highest rating in evaluation.
