| Thesis Abstract | <a href="PONIENTE, JESSIELYN A., ESTAVILLO, CLAIREVY I., AND SANICO, ANGELYN G. DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTERIZED JUST-IN-TIME INVENTORY SYSTEM OF CAVITE STATE UNIVERSITY-ROSARIO CAMPUS WITH PRODUCT MONITORING ALARM MECHANISM. A Project Design. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University Rosario, Rosario, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Raiza D. Boreo.<br/><br/>The study was conducted from July 2013 to January 2014 in Cavite State University - Rosario Campus, Rosario Cavite to assist the department and supply officer concerning the manual process of inventory system. Specifically the study aimed to: 1. plan a system that can monitor the delivering of supplies on time and to replace the manual monitoring of the supplies; 2. analyze the flow of delivering from receiving to the distribution of the supplies to each department; 3. develop a system that solves problems encountered on manual inventory, 4. evaluate the system according to the specified features; and S. implement the system.<br/><br/>In creating the system the researchers conducted an interview to gather necessary data. The supply office, which handles the inventory of the university, had been interviewed of what are the problems they had encountered with existing system and its importance. The researcher had also conducted some interview to those involved the system. For the interface of the system the researchers used Visual Basic 2010 (VB.NET) for the buttons and modules of the system. For the design of the background, color and layouts Photoshop CS6 has been used. For keeping the data database had been used that is provided by a server which is XAMP. For the logical analysis of the system used a type of an SDLC which is the water fall model to analysed the overall flow of the system. To test the effectiveness of the system the researcher conducted a survey.<br/><br/>The developer collected 200 participants who were asked to rate the system. Ratings were gathered and analyzed using a software evaluation instrument. Means and Standard deviation were computed to determine the level of acceptance. With the perception of the participant it is evident that the system is accurate, it is free from errors. The system also provides a user-friendly interface, it is reliable and the data is updated.
