Thesis Abstract <a href="ARARACAP, CHRISTINE P. AND LLAGAS, NIKKA L. Development Of College Algebra Mobile Application. A Project Design. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite. April 2015 Adviser Raiza D. Borreo.

The researchers integrated learning Algebra with the use of mobile application to help the users learn the subject effortlessly. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. design the user interface and identify all necessary input, process, and output of mobile application, 2. test and evaluate the mobile application system of College Algebra, and 3. implement the mobile application system of College Algebra.

The researchers used the iterative model in developing the system. Planning the design and expected output, gathering information about the subjects related to the system, consulting and conducting interviews on mathematics teachers for deriving the formulas and converting the flow of each formula into codes were done by the developers to complete the system

The researchers conducted an evaluation to two hundred (200) participants including one hundred (100) students who took up College Algebra subject, ninety (90) students who take up College Algebra subject, five (5) math teachers from different schools and twenty three (23) teachers from Cavite State University Rosario and thirty five (35) 1.T. specialists.

The criteria used in rating the software are the following accuracy, accuracy, consistency correctness, reliability, information in the program, user-interaction and technical aspects of the software. The results of the software evaluation showed that the application is a useful tool to learn College Algebra.
The results from evaluation as for accuracy had a average mean of 3.88. All have a descriptive rating of "Very Good" which only means that the software is easy to use and accurate, the average mean of the consistency is 3.55. All have a descriptive rating of "Very Good" which only means that the software is consistent and well presented in terms of content, the average mean of the correctness is 4.68. All have a descriptive rating of "Excellent" which only means that the software is correct and gives exact and valid information, the average mean of the reliability is 4.05. All have a descriptive rating of "Very Good" which only means that the software is reliable, the average mean of the information of the program is 3.86. All have a descriptive rating of "Very Good" which only means that the software is clear and concise and informative, the average mean of the user interaction is 3.59. All have a descriptive rating of "Very Good" which only means that the software is user-friendly and the average mean of the technical aspect is 3.55. All have a descriptive rating of "Very Good" which only means that the software has a eye-catching design and easy to manipulate by the developers itself.">ARARACAP, CHRISTINE P. AND LLAGAS, NIKKA L.
