| Thesis Abstract | <a href="ARCAYOS, NOEL S., GUHIT, ELLIE ROSE R., PILAC, BENJA D. AND SORIANO, NICKO LANCE M. DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING SOFTWARE OF JAVA PROGRAMMING FOR BS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS OF CAVITE STATE UNIVERSITY - ROSARIO. A Project Design. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University- Rosario, Rosario, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Christopher G. Estonilo.

The development of the study was conducted at Mulawin, Tanza, Cavite, where one of us is situated because there are some of our needed resources to make this study possible, the study was started from July 2013 to January 2014. The development of E- learning Software of Java Programming for BS Information Technology Students of Cavite State University Rosario was developed to help the Professors and students who are taking up Java Programming to learn it with ease and enjoyment. Specifically it aimed to: 1. plan for an E-learning software that can be used by the BS Information Technology Students inside the University; 2. analyze the problem being encountered by the students who are taking up Java programming and how it will affect their interest to learn more; 3. develop an E-learning software that will help and satisfy the students to make them globally competitive and skilled Information Technologist; 4. evaluate the software if it will be helpful to the students and if it will be the answer to their problem.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions: 1.How students learn the basic knowledge on Java programming? 2.How students be interested and engaged in the study of Java programming? 3.How e-learning system provide delivery of knowledge about Java programming?
Visual Studio 2010 was used for designing the graphical user interface of the system. Adobe Photoshop CS6 was used to enhance the interface. The design followed the concept provided by the conceptual model of the study. Database design was then developed by analyzing the process of the existing system. Normalization of the database was conducted in this phase. Normalization is important to prevent dump files in the database; also to manage the data properly. Database design was handled by MySQL..

The system was evaluated by 66 students from BS Information technology, Computer Engineering and Computer Science as good software and was mark excellent in software evaluation. This result that the system has a "Very Good" rating and majority of the respondents found that the system was excellent.
">ARCAYOS, NOEL S., GUHIT, ELLIE ROSE R., PILAC, BENJA D.
