Adviser:<br/>Nabablit.<br/> <br/> The study, Musical Note Reader and Player Application was conducted from August 2018 to April 2019 in Cavite State University CCAT Campus.<br/><br/> Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) obtain the software requirements including the<br/>dataset and tools; 2) design and develop the logical and user-interface of the application<br/>that can run in mobile platforms, using appropriate android-mobile development<br/>applications; 3) assess the technical characteristics of the application with the use of the<br/>modified ISO/IEC 25010 Software Evaluation Instrument; and 4) prepare an<br/>implementation plan for the deployment of the application.<br/><br/> The developers used Rapid Application Development methodology which is<br/>composed of these five stages: requirements planning, designing, testing, refining,<br/>testing, and deployment stage.<br/> <br/> The application was tested, and result shows that it has 79% accuracy rate. It was<br/>also evaluated by five IT experts and it garnered an evaluation score of 4.48 / 5.00,<br/>suggesting a very satisfactory performance and characteristics.<br/><br/> The Read D' Sound: Musical Note Recorder is a mobile-based application that can<br/>read and play musical notes through camera view of the android mobile phone.
