Cavite State University Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Engr. Juniel M. Arcal. Technical critic: Engr. Ruth Angeli L. Burton.<br/><br/>The study was conducted from December 2017 to April 2018 to design, develop and evaluate the automated poultry feeding machine for two tier quail cage poultry system. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) Design a software, hardware and circuit for automatic poultry feeding machine; 2) Construct and fabricate a prototype for Automatic Poultry Feeding Machine; 3) Evaluate the performance of machine in terms of the following; a) Speed in dispensing feeds; b) Accuracy of the amount of feeds dispensed per function; c) Sensitivity Ultrasonic Sensor; 4) Conduct cost analysis. <br/><br/>The accuracy and the running time were used as independent variables, each having three trials. The feeds were used in the study as medium to trigger the ultrasonic sensor for the processing of the Arduino Uno 13. Entering the scheduled time was used as input to for the microcontroller to process. <br/><br/>The result of the evaluation of the prototype was proven that the machine has a constant speed while delivering the feeds. The machine was run in a 1.8-meter length in a constant speed of 20s. It was evaluated three times, back and forth. The accuracy of the distance of feeds in the ultrasonic sensor was detected with the distance of .15 meter from the ultrasonic sensor with a minimum of 500 grams of feeds.
