The study entitled Development of Virtual Nurse for Cavite State University - Rosario Campus was conducted from February 2014 until February 2015 in Pasong Camachile, General Trias, Cavite. It aimed to: design the user interface of the system based on the client's requirements using Microsoft Visual Basic Studio 2010 and Adobe Photoshop CS; evaluate and test the beta-version of system to the clients and ask for suggestion to make it more useful, and implement the system to the campus nurse, students and faculty
The researchers used the system development method called interactive model, where planning, analysis and design interrelated to each other continuously to produce the system that could be assessed and implemented. The researchers gathered and investigated all about the information related to the system, consulting on the campus nurse, adviser and technical critic for suggestions needed in the system and update them every week to see if the system still need more information and need to improve more to be useful. The development of the system was accompanied by the software such as Adobe Photoshop CS6 to edit pictures and design the layout of the system, XAMPP MySQL to store the data and information, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 in designing and writing the code. The researchers conducted an evaluation on two hundred participants including the students, teachers and campus nurse of the Cavite State University - Rosario Campus.
The criteria used by the researchers were: accuracy; consistency; correctness reliability; information in the program; user-interaction; and technical aspects of the software. The result of the software evaluation showed that the system can be a useful tool.
