The study was conducted from August 2016 to April 2017 to develop and evaluate the Roller Paint Brush with Manual Compressor for Painting Process. Explicitly, the study aimed to: 1) design a Roller Paint Brush with Manual Compressor for Painting Process; 2) construct the device using locally available materials; 3) evaluate Roller Paint Brush with Manual Compressor according to the following criteria: a.) time spent in painting process, and b.) Area covered at a given amount of paint 4) conduct a cost analysis for the Roller Paint Brush with Manual Compressor.

The study was conceptualized from the innovation of the combination of a simple paint roller and a manual compressor to paint different surfaces more conveniently and comfortably. The prototype was consists of roller brush, triangular nozzle, roller frame, roller brush holder, removable galvanize iron pipe, triangular nozzle handle, control valve, chemical braided hose, compressor tank, pump, lid cup, pressure adjustable valve, pressure gauge, hanging strap and a medium of paint.

The Manual Compressor puts pressure on the top of the paint in the can, forcing it up to the pipe and though the tube to the hollow roller handle, and into the roller's cylinder core. The paint can be released outside the container and passed through the braided chemical hose through the removable galvanize iron pipe and into the triangular nozzle to fills the nap of the paint roller. Through this, the painting process will be more comfortable and convenient.

The Roller Paint Brush with Manual Compressor was used to paint commercial building, houses, room, and other surfaces more convenient and more comfortable way and easy ways. The evaluation was tested through: (1.time spent in painting process, (2) area covered at a given amount of paint.

The findings of the study revealed that the developed project was economical, can paint larger or bigger surfaces and faster using latex and enamel paint conveniently and comfortably without using a ladder and common painting brush.

From this testing and evaluation, the developed prototype was proven effective in its performance. The total cost of the project was PHP. 13,981.8.
