Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Cavite State University-Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Engr. Reynaldo V. Villanueva. Technical critic: Ailyn L. Manero.
The study was conducted on November 2015 to March 2016 in Cavite State University — Rosario, Campus to develop the “Kinetic: Automatic Security Monitoring System Using GSM Technology”. Specifically, the study aimed to: (1) design and construct an automatic security system using GSM technology; (2) evaluate the prototype; and (3) implement the prototype to serve as a warning device for theft or intrusion. It will monitor your properties at home from theft or intruder whenever you are not at home. Based on the Performance Evaluation, the speed of the PIR sensor/motion sensor which was used as an input device and detects motion was based on the following speed of the moving object: T; — speed of motion: 0.94 meter/sec, speed of sensor: 0.68 meter/sec; T, - speed of motion: 1.20 meter/sec, speed of sensor: 0.97 meter/sec; T3 - speed of motion: 1.76 meter/sec, speed of sensor: 1.67 meter/sec; and Ty - speed of motion: 0.71 meter/sec, speed of sensor: 0.64 meter/sec. Therefore, the speed of motion was inversely proportional to the speed of sensor.
