Robotic Library Assistant is a robot used to take and return books in bookshelves as well as organizing the books. The function of this robot is to help the library assistant in accommodating the students that is using the library especially in borrowing and returning the books in the shelf. This robot will also help in preventing the books from damages it might get when putting it in the shelf. The Prototype is easy to use; it was made more understandable and more interactive to the user. It has a rechargeable battery that is removable and is useful when there is no electric supply or when there are sudden electricity interruptions. Moreover, the robot can only deliver books one at a time only. Based from the result gathered and summarized from the series of testing and evaluation, the system was rated excellent by the institution evaluators (composed of administrative staff, instructors and students) using the ISO 9126 model criteria. Improvements were also made from the comments and suggestions given by the adviser, fellow students and evaluators. The system was successfully constructed and tested meeting the required specification; and it performed well and has garnered the highest rating in evaluation.
