Summary: FELISMINO, BENEDICK C., GASPAN, JAQUILINE P., AND IBONG, JOHN CARLO N. Development of Animation System of Storm Surge, Rainfall Volume and Wind Strength. A Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Cavite State University-Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite April 2016 Adviser Christopher G. Estonilo The Animation System for Storm Surge, Rainfall Volume, and Wind Strength was planned, designed and implement through smart phone to produce information to the users what will possibly happen in that certain calamity and also the animation system can give the users what they must do before and after the storm The developers conducted the study from January 2015 to February 2016 at Cavite State University Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite The study aimed to designed the user interface of animation system for storm surge, rainfall volume and wind strength, test and evaluate the system by trying to use the application by the students of Cavite State University Rosario, IT Expert and Staff of MDRRMO and household. Install the application to mobile phones, tablets and similar gadgets A methodology called interactive model was used in developing the system. This involves the phases of planning, analyzing, designing, prototyping and testing Where planning, analysis and design task interact continuously to produce the animation for storm surge, rainfall volume and wind strength that could be tested and implemented offline through android phone A total number of thirty one (31) participants evaluated the system, twelve (12) of which were from the students of Cavite State University-Rosario, six (6) were IT experts, three (3) were from the staff of MDRRMO-Rosario and ten (10) were from the household. The results showed that the application got 85.91 point with satisfactory descriptive interpretation. It showed that the system needs an improvement as medium for learning the targeted skills.
