The study was conducted from January 2019 to April 2019 to develop E-SAKAY: Public Utility Vehicle's Driver and Passengers Road Aid. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) gather transportation rules and procedures; 2) design the logical and user interface of E-SAKAY Public Utility Vehicle's Driver and Passengers' Road Aid through mobile development tools 3) test and evaluate the mobile application using modified mobile evaluation criteria; and 4) conduct alpha testing of the developed application. 5) implement the mobile application to the Caviteños.
The developers used the interactive model of mobile application development for the methodology. The planning, analysis, design phase were performed continuously until the application was developed for evaluation and implementation.
The application was evaluated by twenty (20) respondents, composed of IT experts, passengers and drivers. The E-SAKAY: Public Utility Vehicle's Driver and Passengers Road Aid gained a total score of 95/100, suggesting an outstanding performance and characteristics.
