The study was conducted from January 2018 to April 2018 to develop a pet application an android-based application. Specifically, the study aimed: 1) document and observe the operations of Pet owners in terms of scheduling their pets to the veterinarians; 2) design the logical and user-interface of the system, that can be deployed in different mobile platforms, using appropriate android application tools; 3)assess the design and technical characteristics of the system using a modified android application evaluation criteria adapted from the ISO 25010; and) deploy the application through Google Play Store.
The application was evaluated by 35 respondents, composed of IT experts, pet owners, pet shop owners and veterinarians. The Pet Application gained a mean of 4.13 and described as Very Satisfactory for the mobile developer respondents. On the other hand, it gained 4.53 and described as Very Satisfactory for the end-users.
